This paper proposes a distributed predictive secondary control strategy to share imbalance in three-phase, three-wire isolated AC Microgrids. The is based on novel approach where the sharing among generators controlled through of single-phase reactive power. main characteristic proposed methodology inclusion an objective function and dynamic models as constraints formulation. controller relies local measurements information from neighboring generators, it performs desired action constrained cost minimization. model scheme has several advantages over solutions virtual impedance loops or extra power converters for managing generators. In fact, with technique performed directly terms without need adding into microgrid. Contrary almost all reported works this area, enables various microgrid parameters within predefined bands, providing more flexible system. Extensive simulation Hardware Loop studies verify performance scheme. Moreover, controller’s scalability comparison study, performance, were carried out.
